Model Successful People To Educate Yourself!

Igniting quote
“No man is capable of self-improvement if he sees no other model but himself.” — Conrado I. Generoso

Igniting question
Are you the benchmark for your own growth and development or do you follow your successful predecessors examples to measure your ladder of success?

Igniting discourse
You might have heard or been told that you are unique and special. Nobody is like you. Your countenance, character, and physic are unique. You are not the same as any body you meet.

Well it is true you are really unique. However a question that arises here is who is your role model? Who do you think and dream about becoming or what do you dream of achieving? If you are your own role model, then well you know what you have become and accomplished by now. You must pick up some ideas and inspirations from others so that you can easily educate yourself.

To be successful, rich, healthy and happy you must model those who have already achieved them and have become real examples. What anyone has done you can do as well. You only need to model and follow them. You can certainly be sure to excel in that field. Learn from them as much as you can learn from yourself.

Prior to Bill Gates becoming a billionaire in computer business, the computer already existed. Bill Gates only modeled them and followed in spirit and commitment. Likewise, other software giants modeled and followed them later and they too became as you know very successful. You can educate and reinvent yourself to become successful in your endeavours.

After two people scaled the Mount Everest successfully, many others modeled and followed them and they too achieved their goals. Similarly after one skyscraper in a city, many other skyscrapers are being built. After Wright Brothers, many people followed making airplanes.

After one graduate student obtains the highest marks in the examination, you can easily predict today how many will follow the trend. In the sporting events if one athlete holds a record, many others will be in that shoe by breaking the records. These are learnable skills so by observing others you can easily model and learn from them.

If one ordinary person who dropped out of school and started his own multinational company, there will be thousands of entrepreneurs following the pioneer’s footsteps. It becomes an easy job to do when somebody has already done something that you want to do.

The point is very simple and clear. If you want to be successful, develop, grow or thrive in life, you just need to model not only yourself but others who have already walked the same road as you want and you will be guaranteed success if you follow and do as they did.

You Better Teach Yourself Becasue Nobody Will Teach You Anything!

“They will present some information to you, but it is entirely 100% up to you to either make the most of it, or waste your time here, and go home and get a normal dumb job.” Derek Sivers

Parents and guardians send their children to schools and colleges thinking that teachers will teach what children really need to learn and that the students will be able to qualify to succeed in life. I don’t know how much this belief really comes true. As far as my experience goes, it doesn’t really work that way. The schools and colleges don’t really teach anything worthwhile because they teach general subjects which don’t correspond to students’ interests and aspirations. So there is a big gap as a result the schools and colleges are not able to connect to the students.

When the schools re-open, the children get excited and parents too feel so happy that their children are going to learn some important things for life. But the intention is never like that. The teachers fail to teach anything that a student wants to learn and develop their skills. Therefore the best thing you can do is you have to teach yourself. What are you interested and what are your aspirations? You better teach yourself about your aspiration and interest because other than you nobody fully knows what exactly you want to accomplish in your life.

Bill Gates had a deep desire for computer. His aspiration was to develop computer software and he didn’t rely on his teachers to teach him about it. They provided him some general information but it was his personal interest and desire that led him to teach himself. He went after his interest and aspiration. His college didn’t understand his aspiration much but he understood and dropped out of the college half way and committed his entire time and energy in learning and teaching himself. This is what I mean when I say you must teach yourself because nobody will teach you anything pertaining to your individual interest and aspirations.

Thomas Edison is another great example to illustrate. He didn’t quite well do in his studies at schools and his teachers didn’t think he was a bright student. They failed to teach him what he wanted. You know he didn’t rely on his teachers to teach him anything that he wanted to accomplish in life. Instead he decided to teach himself and undertook his own research and development to have many inventions patented. This was possible for him despite many failures because he took upon the responsibility to teach himself about his interests and aspirations.

Wright Brothers too didn’t depend on others to teach them what they wanted to accomplish during their lifetime. They decided to teach themselves. They did their own experiment and calculation. Because they relied on themselves to pursue their dreams, they succeeded in realizing their purpose. They saw the possibility of humans flying and they succeeded in finding ways to fly better than birds. If they hadn’t taught themselves to go after their interests and aspirations, there would not have been any flying objects today.

So likewise, if you want to succeed in life, you must teach yourself because nobody will teach you anything. You know your interests and aspirations so you alone can feed all the information and knowledge. So better teach yourself to accomplish what you desire to be, do, have and enjoy. Mother Teresa taught herself to take care of unwanted children, Mahatma Gandhi taught himself to use non-violence for India’s freedom, Martin Luther King Jr. taught himself to dream where there would be no racism and Oprah taught herself to be a role model for many women who go through severe social injustice and humiliation. So you can easily teach yourself what you want to do and become in life.

Educate Yourself Why 3% People Control 97% Of The Wealth?

The schools and colleges don’t teach children why 3% of population control 97% of the wealth? Instead schools and colleges teach children to compete for 3% of wealth. It is a tragedy today in the world that 97% of population in the world work 40 hours a week for 3% wealth. The 3% rich know the secret that 97% don’t know and even if they know, they don’t take action.

There are many reasons why 97% of population struggle day and night working for few dollars though they work for more hours. Many parents send their children to schools only to learn how to read, write and do maths. The schools never teach children about financial education. They don’t teach about money, which is very important in their lives but the schools seem to be okay with this despite high tuition fees. So you should be aware of the reality what is going on in the world and who controls the whole world’s financial market?

It is important that you educate yourself about money and ways to attract it. Money or wealth is perceived differently by different groups of people. There are three groups of people in the world. The broke or poor people, the middle class and the rich and each spend their money in a different way. The way they earn and spend money makes them either poor, middle class or rich. The poor people or broke buy stuffs from discount sales. You can hear very often from their mouths, “buy this and buy that.” They always want to buy with little money or no money they have. These people don’t educate themselves at all and they won’t be able to change their status as long as they hold on to their old habits. Their habits will never die because it is very strong by now.

On the hand, the middle class people buy liabilities. They too love doing purchases. They visit showrooms and buy cars, LCD, Iphones, holiday packages and club membership though they have not enough to pay for all. These people earn a decent salary, but mostly all of that money goes to the expenses and not to investment columns. These people hardly think of investing in cash generating opportunities. For them, the high status and prestige is very important in society. They say proudly that they are working for so and so companies and that their salary is high enough but they don’t know half of their salary goes to the tax payment. They don’t know the government takes away a greater part of their salaries in the form of professional taxes, income taxes etc. These things no body teaches in the schools and colleges.

The other group is rich class. They know how to own 97% of wealth and they don’t necessarily buy stuff or liabilities. They buy assets that generate money for them every day or every week or every month without their presence. These people know how to make use of various leverages and they are well educated in terms of money and financial laws and terms. They invest and acquire assets such as business, real estates, education, personally monitored stocks and bonds.

It is better that you educate yourself so that you can be included in 3% population to enjoy 97% of the wealth. There is a great new world waiting for you if you want to be in that 3%. However it will take a ton of education to change all the negative programmings that you receive everyday. The schools and colleges won’t help you do that, you can learn by yourself or from some mentors. Educate yourself now that you know why 3% people control 97% of wealth in the world and how you can be in 3% group as well.

Educate Yourself To Face The New World!

From ancient ages, people moved to agrarian age and then moved to industrial age. We are now leaving behind the industrial age and entering the information age. Soon we will reach info-golden age and you can imagine how fast the world will change in front of our eyes. Before we wink our eyes, many things will have changed. The speed, values, portability, movement, quality and standard of living will rise so high that if you don’t educate yourself you won’t be able to face the new world because you won’t have leveraged skills to handle. It is better that you educate yourself for the brand new world.

1. Educate yourself to predict and use the new technology.

The technology of the future will be completely different from the present technology. The computer system that we have today will drastically change and it will be more handy and portable. It will be of high quality and durability that technology will determine every walk of our life. So it will be very important for people to prepare themselves by educating about the use of new technology.  You should educate yourself to predict the future technology so that you can easily get an edge over others. Ten years from now new technology breakthrough will revolutionise the whole world so much that it would seem we are the real co-creators.  Are you educating yourself enough to predict the future technology and thereby apply the same to one’s advantage?

2. Improve your communication skills.

The mode of communication too will change in coming years, as you know the process has already begun. Are you efficiently able to communicate with others that they get the message clearly?.  Improving one’s communication skills will have a greater positive impact in your life. Communication skills here mean- negotiating, advertising, persuading, marketing, networking and selling. If you learn these skills, you will be able to face the new world. The new world will not be what it is today; the new world will be more expressive. So it is essential to develop your communication skills to get an edge over others.

3. Educate yourself to innovate your relationship

The present stage of friendship, relationship and marriage will not remain the same as it is. Today people fall in love, become friends and even marry one another to raise offspring. This is a traditional style which is prevalent in the world today. But it would go through a massive change in the years to come. There is already a sign of change visible even today. The married couples no longer feel  today loved, satisfied, happy and committed to each other as a result they take strong steps to move apart from each other. Couples are finding hard to live together till death because there is a monotonous and boring life style. If people don’t innovate new ways to stay in love with their spouses or partners, it will be like living in hell.  People no longer will accept marriage as a sacred sacrament, it will be a contract for a day, a week,  a month or a year.  The style of having children will also vary. Either it will be a single or two parents or a child bearing institute where it will monitor the population and accordingly raise kids.  It is better to innovate love life, friendship and marriage life now to suit  the new world.

4. Educate yourself about financial matter.

Today we have paper money which we call currency and it is controlled by centrally owned institutes in the world. The money system has already gone through many changes. The currency was backed with gold reserves, but it has been taken off from gold standard to debt system. Today we have credit cards, debit cards, cheques and fiat notes guaranteed by the governments of the world. This system will no longer exist in the years to come. There will be a powerful system to control the world and its people through another system which may not be the perfect one but it will exist because the bill will be signed into a law. It has happened in the past and it will be repeated again in the future. It is therefore important to educate yourself about money and financial system to work in your favour.

5. Educate Yourself how to stay healthy.

There will be a great technological change on one hand and on the other hand there will be serious health issues emerging due to massive lifestyle changes. Today already the process has begun and you can spot many kinds of health issues affecting millions and millions of people all over the world. It will be a wise choice to educate oneself about health, nutritious food and natural medicines. If you want to live in the new world, you got to study and learn how to prevent various diseases. It will be a matter of great concern for people to be healthy and fit to perform their activities. Having a good health will play a great role in your life and you can’t neglect to educate yourself to have healthy body, mind and soul. Start the process to educate yourself to be healthy and fit so that you can be happy and exist in the new world satisfactorily.

These are some of the important areas where you must work hard to educate and learn about because they will surely be the main determining factors in the future. You can’t neglect educating yourself for the new world. If you forget and take it lightly, then it will hurt you so much when the time arrives. Prepare yourself and educate yourself to face the new world. You can face the new world only when you educate yourself by being a responsible person. Innovate, discover and learn continuously to live a better life in the years ahead.

The Power Of Self-education Over Formal Education!

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.”  Jim Rohn

What do you want in your life- a mere living or a big fortune? What would you choose between these two? All over the world, 95% of population choose to make only a living than 5% who make a fortune. What is a living and what is a fortune? A living helps people to survive and get by in life for a day or two. It can’t afford what you want and desire in life. While a fortune is big and abundant. It comes in large quantity where you have more than enough to afford things that you possibly want to have. Self-education assists one to make a fortune and have a greater lifestyle while formal education provides only a living.

Self-education is very important today if you want to make a fortune and you must aim for a big fortune. Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Robert Kiyosaki, Richard Branson and all those famous college drop-outs were able to make a big fortune because they embraced self-education. They continued to learn once they left the schools and colleges. Their learning curve never dropped downward rather remained upward. Because of their choice, they succeeded in attracting big fortunes and they are the real and practical examples of self-education.

Formal Education or school education alone will not give you a lifestyle that you seek to have in your life. Formal education that you get in the schools is limited and insufficient. You must never allow your learning curve to go downward. In other words, make an effort to learn continuously even after you complete your graduation. There is a lot to learn by yourself because schools and colleges don’t teach the most essential things of life. They don’t teach you about self-education that gives you a fortune so you must embark upon a journey to educate yourself as much as you can.

“What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child,” George Bernard Shaw. Children need to pursue their appetite for knowledge and self-development because at school children don’t learn enough. It is good to go to school but it should be made clear to students that formal education can’t guarantee a full financial freedom and security that people seek in life. In today’s economic uncertainty, the formal education is unable to provide jobs and financial security for people. Who have lost their homes and jobs? People who didn’t have self-education are wiped out and are unemployed today.

Albert Einstein once said, “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.” Great men and women who have made a big success understand that formal education is not sufficient, phd won’t guarantee a financial security or freedom. What gives freedom is the self-education. Educating oneself is the most and urgent requirement of this present world. I understand, it is hard to learn by oneself but it gets easier when you start the process.

“The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.” Carl Roger. Rely on self-education to make a big difference in your life, Self-education will feed you for days, though you may not work everyday. But formal education will feed you for a day and not for years. Make a right choice to educate yourself, develop your skills and talent so that you attract a big fortune that belongs to you. Embrace self-education over formal education but don’t neglect your formal education at young age. You should go to school to learn to read, write and understand before you could take up self-education.

Teach People To Be Victors Not Victims!

“No victor believes in chance.” Friedrich Nietzsche

If you consider yourself a victor then you should never believe in victimhood, for you are born winner. People learn in schools and colleges to be victims- a loser or a failure. They don’t have an attitude of a victor when they are faced with problems and obstacles. It is important that people should be taught to be victors and not victims. The whole system tries to drag people to be victims of bad habits.

Victims of drugs, alcohol,  smoking, crimes etc.

The young people go to schools and colleges regularly in order to acquire education but they don’t learn anything much about life. They don’t learn about being victors, instead they go to schools to learn how to use drugs, how to get drunk and how to smoke cigarettes and eat marijuana. The majority of students at schools and colleges are victims of these drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. The parents send their kids to educate themselves so that they can live a good life but they are all learning bad habits. They choose directly to be victims rather than victor. The health care cost has sky-rocketed over the decades and still the youngsters bother less about their health. It is a tragic story that heart attacks, obesity, mental imbalance etc are rampart among the young people yet they choose to be victims.

You are born a victor so be a victor.

People are born a winner and they should respect that and choose things that are good and positive to life, health and happiness. If people can choose good health and good eating habits then they will be victors in the world. They won’t fall sick and become a victim of ill health through out their lives. Many people rely on medicines to cure their illnesses and many people visit as many doctors as they can to talk about their history of disease. These people tell their victim stories  to as many people as they meet and become victims again.

You are born a victor so you must talk and share about things that you want to achieve in your life. By talking and thinking about them will make you eventually a victor so go ahead thinking positive and victorious thoughts. The empowering thoughts raise people’s standard, hope and confidence. So think and behave like a victor, a winner. Say to yourself, ” I am a victor and a winner. I win and I succeed in whatever I do.”

Winning attitude will make you a victor while loser attitude will make you a victim. Choose to be a victor always till you become a victor. Never allow your victim attitude to take a hold of your mind. You are bigger than the circumstances and the situation should not subdue you. You must control the circumstances and problems. Overcome your victim mentality. Teach yourself to be a victor, a winner and you will be a victor soon.

Schools And Colleges Don’t Give Financial Education!

“We were not taught financial literacy in school. It takes a lot of work and time to change your thinking and to become financially literate.” Robert Kiyosaki

What really matters in life are not taught to the students instead what matters least are taught in the schools and colleges. It is a sad phenomena because students are not prepared thoroughly to face the real world after they graduate from the university. Financial education is very much required today in this uncertain period of time. So students or anybody who exist on this earth need to learn about money and financial affairs.

Alan Greenspan strongly remarked once, “The number one problem in today’s generation and economy is the lack of financial literacy.” The academic institutes are well aware of the fact that there is a lack of financial literacy and still they don’t make a point to educate the students. Robert Kiyosaki says that it is a part of conspiracy theory to not teach students about the financial matter. That is why the schools and colleges don’t give financial education and instead bore the students with irrelevant subject topics, which won’t be utilized by students in the real world.

Schools and colleges don’t teach the students about good debts and bad debts, assets and liabilities, cash-in and cash-out, business and investment, enterprising and power of ideas, tax systems and capital gains, real estates and insider trades etc. and these are important in day to day life. Many people fall victim to the banking systems through credit card defaults and the habit of over spending their earnings. Many students don’t know the difference between earned income and passive income, part -time job and full time jobs that they end up in the rat race for the rest of their lives.

If the students and people lack the basic financial education, then they can’t lead a good and successful happy life because money plays a vital role in providing a great lifestyle for people. So one way to learn financial education is to read books by one self or attend some seminars so that the most essential aspects of financial literacy could be acquired and used to have abundance. I don’t like to blame the schools and colleges for not giving the financial literacy to the students, I am concerned about the system which is designed to benefit a few rich people only.

Learn as much as you can about money and how it is made out of thin air. If you acquire financial literacy, then you can be free and live in happiness, peace and health. There is an advantage if you have acquired financial education from your parents who already know many things about money and its investments. The rich people teach their children about money because they know the schools and colleges are not designed to impart financial literacy. Therefore, it is good to seek financial information to liberate oneself from the rat race. You must free yourself by having a financial literacy.

Academic Education Fails To Teach People!

” I have been making a list of the things they don’t teach you at school. They don’t teach you how to love somebody. They don’t teach you how to be famous. They don’t teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don’t teach you how to walk away from someone you don’t love any longer. They don’t teach you how to know what’s going on in someone else’s mind. They don’t teach you what to say to someone who’s dying. They don’t teach you anything worth knowing.” Neil Gaiman, American Novelist, Journalist, Screenwritter, Children’s author. comic writer.

There is not even a slight doubt today about academic education, which has failed to teach people many valuable and important aspects of life. What academic education programmes teach are irrelevant to real life experiences and as a result the youngsters don’t cultivate anything good and worthwhile to appreciate. Academic education has kept people ignorant and less smart about things that actually matter a lot. So why not teach something that are closer to human hearts and pertain to human life? This is a big question to answer.

Albert Einstein said, ” I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.” I think this should be the mode of teaching young people at schools and colleges. The bookish knowledge is not relevant today because it is not updated on time. B.F. Skinner said, “We shouldn’t teach great books; we should teach a love of reading.” Today youngsters don’t read books because they haven’t learned how to read books that could determine their future course of direction. It is important to read books because it opens up the mind for new ideas that could be valuable to the society and the country or world.

Robert M. Hutchins rightly said, ” It must be remembered that the purpose of education is not to fill the minds of students with facts…it is to teach them to think.” Are we really teaching people to think independently so that they can figure out ways to solve some critical issues of life and society? People are getting only academic education to find jobs and a security for life. There is not more than this. Almost all people value academic education more than the life education, which teaches how to love, how to be polite, how to respect, how to forgive, how to understand, how to win, how to be successful through good ways, how to be a good father and a mother, how to be a good citizen, how to serve the community, how to treat the criminals, how to help the old, sick and many other valuable things. “Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them become what they are capable of becoming.” — Goethe

Children spend a greater part of their lives in schools and colleges yet they fail to learn the most essential things of life. Is it a crime against the children perpetrated the government and the world? Why should children be ignored and not taught about the fundamental issues of life? For instance, I see many youngsters after eating snacks or smoking cigarettes, they just throw them on the road without much care and concern. They don’t feel the privilege to put them into the trash cans. It is heartening to see how these young people will consider and value the little things of life? They seem to be studying in the best schools and colleges but they don’t learn where to smoke or not to smoke. They never ask out of courtesy whether their smoking is causing inconvenience or not. They don’t mind about others’ health. This is a tragic story today. This is one example and there are many examples which require greater attention.

Marva Collins commented once, “Once children learn how to learn, nothing is going to narrow their mind. The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another.”  Education system must teach children important things to live, to respect, to be honest and to be self-confident. But these children are brainwashed with the ideas of getting safe and secure jobs and working for others. May be it is essential for survival but it is not the big deal for life. Becoming a worthwhile, well-natured person is more important than merely pursuing academic education.

John Gardner strongly pointed out this: “Much education today is monumentally ineffective. All too often we are giving young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.” In other words, children are not receiving what is essential for life and for themselves. So it is better that parents should realize what education they are providing their children. Children by themselves won’t know many things but under some supervision, children can easily learn to love, learn to work and respect. Education must involve students in learning together. Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” — Benjamin Franklin.

In my opinion, children must be taught to be watchful about their thoughts, words, actions, habits, character and then destiny. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson. Children are failing to be who they are and what they are. We must actually keep them as they are originally created from the womb.

“A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank…but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child.” — Forest Witchcraft

True Education Enlightens People!

“Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment. Mastering others requires force; mastering self needs strength.” Lao Tzu

Education is important because it enlightens people; it gives spiritual or intellectual insights. Education therefore must give information or instruct people about life, intelligence and spirituality. Spirituality is never a religion, instead spirituality a philosophy of one’s life, one’s lifestyle. True education will always enlighten people and it never hurts anybody or blames anyone for any misunderstanding or failures.

Education never creates any doubts in the minds of people rather it frees the doubts by enlightening the human mind. I know for sure that academic education instills fear, doubts, uncertainty and impossibilities. The beauty of education is supposed to be enlightening people with spiritual and intellectual insights.

Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa and many other great people had a deep sense of spirituality and intellectual capacities. They never doubted or felt uncomfortable about anything. Of course, they were challenged with their beliefs. For instance, when Mahatma Gandhi decided to fight for India’s freedom through non-violence, many others didn’t approve his ideas but unmoved and less perturbed, he moved ahead in spite of huge opposition. Mother Teresa, was another spiritually or intellectually enlightened woman, she never wavered about serving people. She loved them truly because she had been enlightened.

If you look at from business perspective in the corporate world, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Dhirubai Ambani and many other successful businessmen and women were too spiritually and intellectually enlightened to do something. They were so enlightened that their passion and love became clear and they didn’t wait long to start off their journey to build fortunes. So education should be enlightening the students to do something good for the humanity. Many schools and colleges instruct students to be employees rather than be spiritually and intellectually job creators.

I believe that today we need or what our children need is the enlightening. They need to be enlightened spiritually and intellectually. They don’t need to be instructed to be only employees. We need to teach the children to find their passion and love through enlightenment. Just like others who found their passion and love after being enlightened, we can help build the young people to be pioneers in this new world.

Buddha said, “To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.” Yes, we can live a better and satisfied life if we are truly enlightened spiritually and intellectually.

Allow yourself to be enlightened and instructed by the non-academic system which is very close to real life and experiences. I am sure in the years to come there will be many enlightened scientists, leaders, teachers, businessmen, parents and citizens all over the world who will take this new generation to a great height of human civilization. Let’s be enlightened and be civilized as per the new century.

Imagination Precedes Logic and Mathematics!

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” Albert Einstein

Imagination is more powerful than logic or mathematics. With logic we can go to the moon or outer space and come back to the earth. For some logic is very important at first but without imagination logic will have no significance. It is through imagination that people formed images or pictures about things and applied the logical-mathematical formula to reach there.

Albert Einstein was absolutely right in telling us that imagination can take us everywhere and with imagination there is no boundary or territory. The universe is so vast and expansive that logic and mathematics won’t be able to accommodate the universe but imagination can contain the whole universe in our brain.

Whatever you want to accomplish in life, you have to first create through your imagination and then it will be manifested and displayed over the time. You must imagine the goals, dreams and desires to be yours and that way you will be able to have them. Many well-known scientists, inventors and successful people played games with their imagination and felt their dreams and goals with their hearts. Their images became so real that they felt it and realized it.

The schools and colleges are busy teaching people about logic and mathematics without attending to imagination. Imagination should be included in the curriculum so that it will precede the logic and mathematics to guide and direct people. Imagination precedes logic and logic follows the imagination. Those who understand the power of imagination, have gained so much than those who don’t know much about its magnificent power. Great artists, writers, directors and leaders have used imagination to lift the standard of people all over the world.

Since imagination precedes logic and mathematics, the schools and colleges must encourage students to think and imagine what they desire first and then apply the logical formulas. Schools and colleges fail the students who use their imagination more than other students. I read once a real story about a student and a teacher. The students were asked to write about their dreams and goals, among them one student wrote down exclusively about setting up a big farm. The student imagined every detail and wrote down on the paper and the next day submitted the project. It was really a great dream indeed. The sad part is that the teacher failed the student giving zero mark. The teacher said to the students that the dream was impossible and couldn’t be realized by any means. It was only a fantasy and told the student to make some changes. The student was heartbroken because deep within himself he felt that the dream was attainable. The student decided to submit the same paper again without any changes. The teacher saw it and gave it back to the student to change the topic otherwise he wouldn’t get the passing grades. The student took the paper and told the teacher to keep the grades with him and he didn’t change the topic.

The interesting thing is that after some years later, the student’s dreams of owning a big farm became real. He was living his life according to his imagination. The teacher saw from logical and mathematical point of view that dream was impractical. Logic and mathematics don’t have vision and so they can’t see the inner dreams. Imagination sees everything and goes everywhere. It can give you everything that you want if you apply it intelligently.

So get ready to make use of imagination to create your bright and successful future. Don’t doubt what you imagine because the images that you hold and that are true will surely become real. It is you alone who knows your dreams and goals. Continue to imagine and apply the logic or mathematics to make it come true. Imagination precedes logic and you must precede the logic to attain your dreams.
